everox and Mota Engil sign MoU to accelerate circular concrete in Portugal
Rotterdam/Porto, 29 May 2026
We are proud to announce that everox and Mota‑Engil Next (MEXT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the development and deployment of a concrete upcycling plant in Portugal.
This partnership brings together everox’s patented concrete upcycling technology and Mota‑Engil’s global infrastructure expertise and local market presence, with the shared ambition to accelerate the transition towards circular, low‑carbon construction.
The partnership focuses on reducing construction and demolition waste, creating local material value chains, and supporting the decarbonization of the built environment. Following the MoU, everox and Mota‑Engil will work together to assess technical and commercial feasibility, evaluate integration within existing infrastructure projects, and explore pilot and deployment scenarios for concrete upcycling plants.
“With our strong focus on sustainability and innovation, everox is a natural partner to explore new approaches to low-carbonconstruction, aligned with our strategic direction.”
With this collaboration, everox and Mota‑Engil are laying the foundation for circular concrete deployment, turning proven technology into scalable applications and advancing the transition to a more resource‑efficient and low‑carbon built environment.
